He's from Illinois. I'm sure his poor play against Carolina had more to do with going against Greg Hardy in his first pro start more so than playing in the rain.

This.

I was at the game and thought he gave up a sack on Brees, but I'm not sure. I don't remember him getting flagged or doing anything else of consiquence.

I saw a tweet from PFF that all games are available or premium stat users. That's your cue Hoody.

Yeah yeah.

Armstead got a +1.8 overall score for the week, placing him second behind Strief among O-linemen.
He particularly shined in run blocking.

Compare this score to last week, when he score a -3.7 overall.

something is wrong though, they have the Saints giving up 3 sacks unless they just put that sack on all 3 players.

He only gave up 2 QB hurries in the game. That is exceptional for a young LT. The team only gave up 4

Man, I want him to be good SO BAD. It would be so good for us to not have to get an (expensive) LT in FA or use our 1st/2nd on one..

And I really want to see him go against another stud (Clemons/Avril) before heading into the next offseason, though Trent Cole and Adrian Clayborn are no slouches.

Yeah, he seemed to make some stance mistakes during the first half of the Panthers game. Since then he has seemed to settle down.

Holding your own against Clayborn is not fools gold. He beasted in that first game against us.

This rookie class has a chance to be special for us. Armstead and Stills look like possible long term starters while Vacarro looks all pro.

Throw in Robinson, foster, lelito, and griffin.... If one or two of those end up doing something ... This will be a special class
