Chicken and Sausage Gumbo..... one with oysters one without.

Shrimp Fettucini

Deer Sauce P'caunt

Potato Salad

Rice

Green Beans

Sandwhich Tray

Veg Tray

Fruit Tray

Raw Oysters

Enough sweets to give a small African nation sugar diabetes.

Any kind of "Coke" you want to drink...... such as Sprite, Rootbeer, Dr. Pepper.

Braised Border Springs Lamb
cornmeal flat bread, hot and cold accompaniments
Cahors, Clos la Coutale, France, 2010

"Milk and Cookies".
vanilla bourbon milk, coconut rochers, peanut butter cookie, gingerbread ganache, snowballs, amaranth crisp treats

my family's christmas eve tradition is a seafood gumbo.

heading home after lunch so that i can peel the shrimp, and get the shells in the pot to make a stock.

Was trying to find somewhere to take the in laws tonight, but the options are limited...
Looks like a chicken and sausage gumbo, fwiw i cut my own chicken and will use andouille from best stop.

Thanks MD but it's all good. This is what my immediate family decided to do for our Christmas Eve dinner. The kitchen will be busy cooking everything from turkey to oyster dressing for when the whole family gets together tomorrow.
