Given the fact that it looks like he will never play on OL and the fact that we have more depth there than on the DL any chance he could move to DT?

Probably a stretch but just thought I'd throw it out there.

Is his technique why he doesn't get playtime on OL or DL? I asked about him last week on here.

Looks like the OP is coming up with assumptions all over the place.

I'm going with 1985. I think it was John Hazard and Tommy Clapp who both spent some time at DT due to injuries late in the season.

I would say so since Hoko played a little this past season albeit not much. However, I would have to say that I also have wondered if the recruiting did not pull in some worthy bodies if someone would make the jump to the other side of the line. We need a big strong plug in the middle a la Brockers...

Didn't they ask a player to switch a year or so ago to get playing time and the guy refused and I think maybe he transferred I was in texas then so info was limited. Was it Chris Davenport.

Davenport graduated, switched to oline not dline. Played for Tulane this past season. He played a back up role so he never refused, he was a bust.
Fohoko played this past season as backup and goaline situations.

Davenport was a DT in high school, moved to OL after he came to LSU, and then moved back to DT when he transferred to Tulane.

I thought this thread was going to have breaking news about Fanaika moving to DT. I guess I just wasted my time...
