I know that he has had a terrible year but I will be forever thankful for the kick against the Vikings in 2009. You will be missed Garrett (at least by me).

super bowl kicks and NFC title game is now a wash with his 2010 falcons miss, among countless other game changing misses

Will smith deserves more of an appreciation thread than Hartley.

No way. Smith has stolen countless money and valuable reps from Galette.

I will always remember the kick. Hopefully he finds his stroke back and finds a new home.

People always forget about his SB field goals

I've backed him for a while but I just feel at this point that someone we sign can't be any worse. And there's a strong chance they will be more consistent

Don't forget the three huge kicks he made in the actual Super Bowl that kept the Saints close.

is there another kicker with as many 40 plus yard FGs in a SB, anyway...I'm glad he picked that game to have one of his off days.

We'll lose some FG range for sure, but I'll trade that for consistency. I mean Hartley almost shanked some extra points this year. In fact, didn't he do that?

They worked out 5 guys last month. 3 you've never heard of, plus Graham & Rackers. Neither who have been terribly great. But kickers are known to get hot/cold so you never know what we might turn up

One has beaten up his wife and one hasn't. I think I'll go with the kicker.

Thanks to Garrett for helping sending us to the 44th.

And thanks to Garrett for sending the viking fans farther into that deep dark NFL hole of misery that they dwell in.
