I appreciate that he was there in the moment we needed him.

"Just aim for the Fleur de lis hanging up on the balcony son"
Yeah, I was there right in front of it, was no feeling quite like it when that thing cleared the bar!

Hartley needed to go but I will always remember him for 2009.

NFC game and super bowl kicks were his most clutch kicks ever. He'll be remembered forever for those in New Orleans and amongst saints fans everywhere.

It's inexplicable. Kid made so many big time long-distance kicks but shanks chip shots. I'm sure someone will pick him up.

It won't be easy for him. There will be a handful of rookies next year come up and never many retirees. Plus if he has a mental block causing the shanks, he may simply just be done... See Rick Ankiel, except Hartley can't make a switch and go play safety

Guy made 44,46,47 yard field goals in a Super Bowl. He was clutch. Hope he can come out of his slump and kick again in the AFC.

You can't be serious!? The guy is a Saints hero, or should be, for what he did in '09.

So is Steve Gleason. Doesn't mean I want him on the active roster.

Too soon?

That's not the point frick face. But to call what he did in `09 a wash is a tad bit more stupid than what you wrote....tard.

Thanks for the memories Garrett. You will always be remembered as the kicker who was a HUGE part in the Saints Super Bowl winning year. Good luck.
