Really impressed with the quality of the meats and the prices...the Cubano was very good....charcuterie platter as well......going to ask the board for some other recommendations for lunch & dinner here at home...other than the same old standards. TIA

Huh? If you mean Orlando, Epcot is the only place I eat. For my money, it's Mexico.

Agree wholeheartedly with the first part. 11 bucks for a little sandwich isn't all that impressive though.

I wouldn't call the place cheap or anything, but I also certainly wouldn't call the sandwiches "little."

I've had the Cubano, bought some of their deli meats, and had some gumbo they make with their in house Andouille and it's all been very good.

Really wanted to try the cubano but they were out of pork when I went. I got pastrami and it was very good as well, but not even remotely filling (and I'm not a big eater by any means). Grabbed a pack of boudin to go and it was also very good.

I'm going by sizes/prices back in Florida, regular Cuban isn't even close to being as large and at average price of about $8 the one at City Pork for $10 was a great value. No way I would call it little....Not sure about the others

Had a nice conversation with Don the Cure Master, very nice and knowledgeable guy.....Going back today to get some of his andouille which was being smoked yesterday.....

I forget what they call it, but it's essentially a Reuben (choice of corned beef or pastrami, dressed with sauerkraut and "Russian dressing" on rye). The bread was comparable to basic Holsum square sandwich bread as far as size. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious . Just not very filling.

Looking forward to trying it. How is the seating as far as room inside?

Just left. They have a good bit of seating inside. 15 or so tables. They have a small patio also with about 5 tables.

I had the Cubano and really liked it. It was plenty big enough for the $11

I noticed that. I got the Cubano and it was very large. The Big Pig was a nice size as well. The New Yorker was what you were talking about, it did look kinda little. The Cubano was outstanding.

Just had the Cubano. Pretty good, quality meat goes a long way. I had a beer for $1.50 too, which was nice. I'll be back.

Probably Jewish rye for the bread. Trust me it had to be better than the dead Momma Goldberg editions of sandwiches steamed hot.

Went for lunch today with the wife and sister. Wife got the club which was smoked turkey and bacon. Sister got the Big Pig. I tried both of them and both were very good.

The had a hot dog special today made with pork, beef, and veal. That's what I got and it was great. Came with chili, cheddar, mustard, and green onion. Also had a bacon and chocolate chip cookie, which must have just came out of the oven. I could have eaten a dozen of them.

I really like this place and hope it succeeds.
