So your claiming you've gone opposite of me and made money..... Lmao sure you have
Look I know this is "your board" and you are smarter than all of us in here but it's pretty pompous of you to come into this thread and say you've been making money doing the opposite of what we've all been doing to make money.

Ugaz/dgaz goes in waves as you know so it's very possible he has.
That said, Russian is a condescending dick most of the time. Loves confrontation and putting others down. I've got no doubt he's a smart guy but he has the social skills of a baboon.
Just try and ignore any negatively. I greatly appreciate the discussion here and have tremendously benefited from it.

I know I bought DGAZ last week and sold it yesterday and made a nice profit. And I bought it again this morning and sold it about 45 minutes later and made a decent profit (about $600) considering the amount of time I was in it.
Are you saying that didn't happen? If so, why are you saying that?

Then why are you posting in this thread? Are you saying you didn't read my natural gas trade alert last week telling people to buy dgaz? 100% positive I put it in capital letters
Don't feed me bullshite.... I know if you are in this thread now you've read everything..... Be cool and make money

Why do people fight when we're all obviously making money? This should be the happiest thread on TD. I know it's my favorite.

Cry Havoc, and Let Slip The Dogs of War.
I did go long $21.50 weekly calls today. They've about doubled already. I believe it was all weather related, and my play is that the injection is hugely negative and pushes the Jan contract higher on emotion. Short term trade until Friday because the EIA weather and short term natural gas outlook is still bearish.
Here is the snapshot I got off of FEF:
Ecova -124
Citi Futures -131
Guernsey -132
Schneider Electric -142
Ritterbusch -145
The SMC Report -150
Gelber & Associates -151
Raymond James -151
FirstEnergy -156
Strategic Energy -156
Asset Risk Management -157
Stephen Smith Energy -158
Genscape -159
Energy Management Institute -160
IAF Advisors -160
Macquarie -162
Thomson Reuters Analytics -168
Robry -154
Reuters Survey -150
Plus ICE makes this short term (2 day) hugely bullish.
I'm not sure if DGAZ surpasses its 52 week low on this or not. Maybe I'm greedy as I had a chance to buy at $2.50 and remembered how last winter and spring the pricing was so disconnected from supply/demand fundamentals. That's still really my play (emotions) on all of my positions. I'm starting to think we don't see $6.80 natty gas like last winter, and I've really changed my approach to trade everything between the $4.50-$5.000 range with spreads to help finance and risk manage the trade. This includes the paper etf's, which are extremely difficult, for me at least, to figure out price points matching actual gas prices.
I'd take some price entry points on DGAZ if Use the Force Be With You is willing. You think below $2.50 and forget it until next spring?

I think DGAZ sees the 2.30 range at some point this winter.......@ that # I'd hold 5000 shares till spring without a hitch..........
However I do so an advantage currently to picking it up in the low 2.50s and selling it off in the low 3s due to the massive volatility going on in this etfs.......

I started it. He made a comment about buying everything I said not to buy. I didn't say that, and he took it out of context. I broke my rule, and instead of ignoring him, I provoked him.
I shouldn't have done that. Not that I give a damn about him, but this thread has consistently made money, and we need to stick to topic and continue to make money. I have a huge cigar habit to feed.
Edit - The guy we really owe a lot to is Use the Force. We shouldn't forget that. And I will get him imported beer after a decent hit. We really all need to decide at what point to do this, and get him an online gift certificate to an imported beer place. I know I've made at least $50,000 during my involvement in this thread.

I haven't paid attention in this thread to what you've been doing so I can't answer your question.
Then why are you posting in this thread?
quote:That's right, I didn't. I'm glad I didn't because if I had seen it I probably would not have bought DGAZ last week and would have missed out on making some money. But to you (if that is the real reason you're being snippy) for being correct on DGAZ in this case even though I missed your post.
Are you saying you didn't read my natural gas trade alert last week telling people to buy dgaz?
Don't take that personally.
If you read this board long enough you will learn the way to make money is by frequently going against the self-anointed experts posting on this board.
That lesson was taught on here going back to the 2008 financial crisis when MileHigh and Colonel Hap posted on here. Anyone taking the opposite of the trade they were promoting made money....usually.
That lesson also goes back to Joe Kennedy, Sr. (JFK's dad) who said he knew it was time to sell out of his stocks just before the Great Depression's stock market crash when his shoe-shine boy started giving him stock tips.
So stop being a whinny butt. For every trade you make, someone is taking the opposite side of the trade. That's the way it works.

It wasn't a desire on my part to spite anyone. I wanted to make some money and I did so by using a fairly reliable contra-indicator on this board.

I understand your point, and I don't claim to be an expert in anything........what I do claim to know is that I watch 4 stocks daily since 2010..........and they come up in this thread........

Sure you haven't..........like I said, you are well known to be a HUGGE frequenter of this board.........and this thread has SLOWWWWLLYYYY progressed over 1 year to 68 pages........thats about 1.1 pages per week.........not impossible
I'm again not trying to pick a fight..........just saying I don't want you to act like you are oblivious to what has been taking place in here.

I will confess I had never heard of DGAZ until I read a few of the posts in this thread (not all of them! ).
So I looked DGAZ up on Yahoo Finance just to learn what it's all about. And I appreciate it being brought up in this thread because I've added it to my StreetSmartPro trading screen watch list and I'm following it now, too.
