Career opportunities with a kinesiology degree from LSU

Fiance (no pics) is moving with me to Georgia at the start of the year. She graduated in kines back in May. I'm trying to think outside of the general "medical assistant" jobs to help her find work. Any good ideas on where to look?
ETA: Would consider any field with entry level opportunities. There has to be work somewhere with so many corporate headquarters in ATL

Flight Attendant for Delta

She should just get into business now. Human Resources, sales, you know...just a job. If she has dreams of using that degree let her figure it out. My wife graduated in French Lit, but as soon as we moved to San Francisco she just started in business. She pretty good at it too. She managed a mall store, she worked as a recruiter, now she does HR.

That is what will most likely end up happening, but we haven't had much luck applying through the company websites. It's all about who you know, and we don't know a soul in Atlanta. She might have to go door to door when we move there

high-end gyms around buckhead..possibly
I will have to look into this. Even working the counter would be better than nothing.
She plans to do PA school in the future FWIW

That was the plan until she didnt get in this go around. She has good grades and great experience but not many PA schools to pick from in the south

Looks to me like you are marrying one of the Kines queens who were cleat chasers and worked for the football team..
Lol just kidding!
Which Kines did she graduate with? (Fitness, human movement sciences, or PE teacher??)
ETA..
Just noticed you said she wanted to do PT so I assume she is Human Movement Science..
If she wants to go that route I would advise her getting a job in a PT office as an assistant to get experience and possibly retaking the GRE or a few more science classes to get her GPA up. If she didn't get in this time and she isn't doing anything to make her application better the chances of her getting in next cycle aren't very good as well.

She is doing PA and graduated in human movements. Had about a 3.3 so her GPA isn't terrible but it could use some work. She is taking one more class to meet the pre reqs at a few more schools so she will have a few more options next go around. A medical based job assisting in an office would be ideal. (Thats what she is doing now.) Hopefully the phones start ringing before January for something similar

The ones with high GPAs go to P.A. school and start work 27 mos later in the $80-90,000 range.

Would someone have a shot with. 3.3 and good work experience? I have a totally different degree so I have no clue what needs to be done. I'm not sure if work experience or GPA is more important in this situation

Most competetive PA and PT schools are taking GPAs 3.7-3.8 and up with good GRE scores. Private schools are much more expensive but she might have a better chance to get in.

That's probably better than most Medical Schools. I seriously doubt that, but I could be mistaken.

How about a rep for orthopedic implants? Arthrex, Biomet, Stryker, Synthes etc

It's true. A few of the private schools will take a 3.2 but all the publics are around a 3.7+ because they only admit 25-40 a year.
