This isn't a fire Monty thread so new coach is not a valid answer.

What are we missing that could help this team out?

I say a dirty vet. Someone with some grit. I saw the game in person last night and it appears the team is a bit soft.

Any thoughts?

We could use our starters on the court to end games?

I agree. How the hell is AD not in the game until mid way through the fourth? That EG turnover with about four minutes left sealed the deal.

He played 40 minutes. Monty screwed up going smallball so early, and he barely touched the ball when he came back in, but his playing time/when he returned to the game wasn't an issue. Pretty sure he played the entire 3rd quarter and the first minute of the fourth.

Set plays that lead to easier baskets or the team shooting considerably better from mid-range. You won't win many games when your 4 best players shoot 17 of 48.

I hope RA is the answer but I don't see it.

Yep. No one on this team has been through some NBA wars. They lack guys who know how/can step up when the shite hits the fan. I think Davis will be that guy, but he's 20 and learning on his own.

I wish they would ring Stephen Jackson. He's toast as a player, but a vet minimum for his experience and attitude would be worth it IMO.

A legit, long SF that can bang down the 3.

An athletic 5 that can run the floor and anchor a defense.

I'm not sure if he is the the answer but they need someone who can mix it up and throw elbows. Teams don't respect us. We had 11 or so blocks last night but PHX still got to the bucket at will.

I think we are missing a legit leader on the court. Our team looks like a bunch of guys trying to shoot their way into being "The Man". I don't think they are selfish, but they don't seem comfortable with each other.

Everything but 3 pointers.

So we're missing 3 point attempts.
