If I don't see big ducks Saturday morning I will fill my boat with coot and gallinule. Who's with me?

Breast pulling time when they first get down. After a few weeks, they get that fatty fish smell/taste quick.

Ate many a breast right off the BBQ pit.

Used to catch them in a dip net and fast boat. You know I'm joking doing it that way.

One big gizzard with feathers. Pretty good actually if you like gizzards and such and your dog will actually pick them up.

Take the gizzards and cook them in a gravy. Pretty damn good.

Two seasons ago we weren't seeing anything on the last day of the season. So we took out three limits of pouldeau plus some a few trash ducks. The dogs love when we hunt pouldeau
