I got a USDA Prime one from Alexanders market a month or 2 ago, it was great

Sam's sells choice

Calandro's, whole foods, maxwells. would all be in the loop as well

Cooked? Wait. Cooking tomorrow? Shouldn't matter much. Go to your happy AG store.

Just look for choice, or choice angus or prime and you'll be fine.

This i've gotten several of these from there, butcher over there is super nice and will trim it down for you as well, just let him know your going to smoke it so he leaves some of the fat on.

Good Luck

That's a fairly decent price, isn't it? Best I've been able to find is $2.99/lb and that was for choice (or select I can't remember to be honest)

I've bought prime briskets at Ralph's for $1.99 a few times. They put them on sale a couple of times a year.

The choice at Alexanders was 2.49. That 19 lb one was a huuuge piece of meat.

Yeah, I remember your brisket post a few months back. What did you rub yours with? One of the best looking food pics on this board I've come across.

Just looked back at an old post I did and it was $2.49 on sale at Ralph's. I would say that $3.49 is certainly a good price for prime. I've seen choice at a higher price than that.

Ok, just wanted to check. Did that to mine a few weeks ago and it came out awesome. Don't think I'll ever use another rub on the briskets.
