Showing emotions againts reporters but not during a game

It amazes me how little emotion our coaches, particularly Miles show during a game, yet he has no control in his emotion when an analogy is made by a reporter.
I've never seen a head coach ever show as little emotion as Miles does now during the game. Aside from 1 or 2 little yells at a ref, the guy just sits there, watches, and claps.
It's a bit disturbing, and to me is as bad as guys like Muschamp that overdo it. Players often mimic their coaches and honestly, from 1/9/2012 on this team has lacked energy, looked disinterested and just going through the motions.
Sad to see from an LSU team.

Les is a passionate dude... I think he has a "game" mode where he dials it down so he doesn't do anything stupid and sets an example for the players.
The press conferences are him venting all the pinned up shite from the game.

he's shown emotion a lot several times going into halftime, on the field after a game, and while on the sidelines during plays and timeouts.

Do you go to games?
Watch the sidelines?
I assume no, judging by your post.

I've seen some legit criticisms of various things in the program. This one, in my opinion, is practically meaningless. But it is your opinion, so you're welcome to it.
fwiw, I think Miles' outbursts against reporters are increasingly calculated. He's able to go from seeming angry to a wry smile quick as a wink.

I think I'm going to ignore any poster that registered after the beginning of this football season, now.

Too hell with Les showing any emotion during the game. Hell, I'd be satisfied with him being ready for these continuing game-changing decisions he's responsible for making, but usually falls short on.
Delegate Les, delegate. Rome wasn't built in a day.

This is one of the dumbest criticisms I've seen so far.
Congrats

So expecting a coach to show some serious emotion at times throughout a game is dumb? Have you coached? Have you ever played organized sports? There is a difference in demeanor that some coaches need to show to help fire up their teams. I've watched all the games and been to several in person recently, and Les is nothing like he was emotionally in game from 2005-2008. Since, he's simply become a spectator in many cases.
I am not claiming he needs to go off the deep end here, but when you are not known as a good game day tactitioner and your biggest credit from players in the past has been your energy and enthusiasm, then why in God's name would you stop that but have no problem sounding like a moron yelling at reporters that made legitimate analogies?
This team hasn't looked as emotionally charged as the previous teams, and that is a fact.

I would much rather see him get fired up for 10 seconds over the Hill fumble, rather than sit your best RB to prove a point.
Exactly, berate and yell in Hill's face for a few seconds, but put your best player back in the damn game Les.

You forget about Les verbally spanking T-Wolfs arse after halftime at Tennessee in 2006?

The whole premise is false.
Miles shows emotion quite a bit.
Not sure why you have this opinion when there has been plenty of evidence to the contrary, but that never stops a certain faction of this "fan"base.

Nice rebuttal. Have nothing to back up a legit criticism? Just tell the other person to shut up.
