Going into the UF game, our offensive gameplan wasn't to throw it all over. Nor were we in a position where quick scores were NEEDED (For most of the game).

We could have had better offensive numbers against Fla, if 1) we needed to and 2) if we don't make a few errors here and there.

But thats football, errors and mistakes happen. Its a matter of making less than the other team and not letting your mistakes cost you more than their mistakes.

Having better players usually translates into more success, so yeah, other teams should recruit more better.

Is Florida planning to loan out their corners to all LSU's future opponents?

I get the sense that there are going to be a lot of pissed off LSU fans if we don't hang a 40 burger on OM. But I think we're going to take out just enough to win. No need to show Saban any more than we have to at this point.

If LSU wins by 10 or more and the defense controls Ole Miss, I don't think most will care. LSU has proven its offensive prowess already this season. The defense has shown improvement and slowing down a good offense in Ole Miss will go further in pleasing the fans than winning a game 45-31.

For me, that would be the ideal scenario. Another good defensive performance, big dose of Hill, some passing now and then to mix it up and a solid 2 score win. Just like Florida. But I think there are a lot of people expecting a return to the early season fireworks.

Yes... I believe every team will have to rely on Mett having a bad day to slow down our offense.

Yes.

The loss of Easley is bigger than what was originally thought.

I'm sure it's been said but this is retarded. UF dbs are talented enough to limit the passing game, so LSU gladly ran the ball with the lead and watched the clock tick. Their plan didn't work.

Mett had an off day and that was it. TE over the middle, dropping the football etc, that should have been another 10-14 points plus another 90 yards and 1-2TDs for Mett. Also the over thrown ball to Boone earlier, and he just missed a few other passes. He would have been close to 300 2 TDs if he was on. They were not blanketing our receivers enough that Mett couldn't fit that ball in like he usually does. That's when Miles went plan be and just played Miles ball.

We should have been north of 30 points in that game. Also they were lucky we couldn't catch 3 interceptions that hit our players right in the hands.

FL has two tall and big corners...couple that with the fact that Ark run for 80 yds in the first qtr against FL, Our game plan was not to use the pass as the primary weapon.

UF has a better Def backfield then anyone else we will play. They respected our pass game so much, that they still only put 7 in the box out of respect for our passing game. Had they put 8, we would have been able to pass the ball better. No other team we play, including Bama is going to be able to do that. I'm thinking Bama is going to bring a really heavy blitz package and sink or swim vs our offense. Hopefully Mett looks like Oregon St did against us when Saban tried that against them.

1) Florida's defense is better than anyone else we will play. Sans Maybe Alabama.

2) we went with a different offensive gameplan vs Florida. We were pounding the rock.

3) mett had an off night. I don't expect many more of those from him. If any.

Florida has powell, fowler and some pretty good corners and Hargreaves will be a 1st round pick in 2 more yrs. Not many team are as good as UF is on defense.
