UF is the only team LSU hasn't exploded on offensively. (IMO, it had to do more with LSUs mistakes and not the UF defense.) UF was the only team bold enough to only keep 7 men in the box. LSU ran well versus them but didn't get the big numbers that they are use to in the passing game and the score board. My guess is that Bama would be the willing to do what UF did. I'm just curious if other teams will take the same approach.
I doubt it, and if they do it will likely be at their own peril. Very few have the defensive talent of a team like Florida. You also see with that strategy hill ran for over 100. As much as I love the pass, LSU is most dangerous when we run the ball well. Mett was also a little off with a few throws, which made things a little closer than it had to be.
