About time to get new pots and pans. The ones we currently have are the Emeril brand and are starting to chip. What are good brands to look at to replace these with? TIA

I've got the hard anodized calphalon nonstick. Got them as a wedding present. They are great.

Those look just like mine. If so they are awesome

Those are what I'm registered for. Already have enough in gift cards to buy them in case no one does. Can't wait to get them.

The best deal is to go to a restaurant supply store and buy some stainless pots and pans. They are way cheaper, good quality, and you only buy the pieces you want, not a whole set.

my only issue with those is they aren't dishwasher safe. Or at least the ones we got aren't

Go out to TJ Maxx and MArshalls and grab you some All-Clad

Go to Kohls when they have a huge sale. Find coupon and tack it on.

Go to a restaurant supply wholesale place. They are all open to the public and you will get great quality without getting raped. Caire and Lotz are the two best in NOLA.

In Baton Rouge you can go to Cayards on Choctaw or Ducotes on Florida. I prefer Cayards because they have stainless steel. Ducotes carries aluminum.

I don't recommend sets. Buy the pot or pan individually. If you cook a lot you'll notice that you only use 2 or 3 pieces about 90% of the time.
Nobody cares if the other seldom used pieces match.

I don't even grasp why Rest. Depot is not open t the general public at all, kind of blows my mind with the money that would walk through their doors. Who ever developed that policy is stuck on stupid. Opening a similar store nearby would put a hurt on them.

The new ones are all dishwasher safe. Won't be doing it, but they are advertised as such.

All clad stainless. I add to my collection when they go on sale at William Sonoma.

The wife and I bought a Calphalon skillet at Target after our wedding with some gift cards. Went back and got a couple different sized pots.
At target you can buy idividual pieces.

Mine look about thirty years older than those.
Still cooking away.
