I hate how teams just change the way they play with the lead late.

Just play football. If you need a first down then don't be afraid to throw.

Hard to run the ball when the box has 11 in it.

Or you can blame the d for giving up a 70 yard drive with one minute left and no timeouts.

The D did their job against Brady and the Pats the 2 series before that. We had the ball in our offense hand and they couldnt get 1 freaking 1st. Its really really hard to stop Brady and Bellichek 3 times in a row in the final 3 minutes of the game.

You are going to blame the defense. Easily the most improved in the league and actually a top 10 defense probably.

Just goes to show that Saints fans won't recognize the real problem. And today it was Peyton. Only a blind man would say that loss is on the defense

Yeh, D stopped them 2 Xs in a row. Offense ran the ball with one of the most prolific passers in the league.... oh wait he ran a bootleg too

The D did their part. Convert a first down on two different possessions and end the game. If you don't understand that, you don't know football. Besides, that was a gerat play by Brady.

but we did try that twice brees made the smart play on 3rd down by not trying to pass it.

CB made an amazing play to knock it down.

Its football people it happens.

I would put the loss on the line not being able to create holes late in the game.

Agree. That was a terrible series of plays. You cannot give Tom Brady the ball back twice in under four minutes, at home and expect to win the game. QB bootleg? You serious? Take the chance at put your receivers out there and try to get the first down and keep the ball out brady hands. Defense played great in the second half, you cannot expect them to do that twice in four minutes.

Of course they are improved but that doesn't mean they are above criticism. They gave up 30 points to a team that has been strugglingoffensively so they certainly deserve a good portion of blame. Especially considering how they played the last drive
