Or was Fla's offense just really terrible? I really thought watching the game that our defense looked much improved- but IIRC a lot of people on here were talking about how weak fla's offense is last week. Ill be honest, this was the first fla game Ive watched all year.

D played like they should, with a purpose. Game ball was theirs.

Watched the game. Saw improvement on the D. JA was actually playing better towards the time he went down. Is Fla horrible? Definitely not the best O we have or will face.

Welter, loston and barrow rallied the troops.

it would say a mix defense played better but Florida also struggled on offense.

the next to games will prove if this D is getting back to old ways again.

Having White and Robinson on the outside with Mills at Nickel has made a big difference.

Uf offense is a joke.

It's basically the same shite we did with JJ at QB.

Probably a little of both. What I really liked seeing was the extra pressure on the qb and no recievers got lost in the secondary. D had better angles and solid tackling.

This is what I thought as well. We have a tough as schedule ahead, and I was looking for something positive yesterday. I think we can hang with bama's OL. I don't know if we can still contain JF like we did last year but yesterdays defense gives me hope we can at least cover a receiver better than we had been.

This.

If LSU holds Ole Miss to less that 21, then I think we can say the defense may be starting to come around a bit.

Last time Florida didn't get a TD in a game against LSU was 1979. That's 34 years. Pretty impressive defense if you ask me.

Much much better job by the defense. Florida does not have a great offense, but I saw much better tackling yesterday by the LSU D.

D played much better. Defensive pressure in the backfield was much better and so was the tackling. My grade B+

We got so much penetration and pressure on the QB. It has to be attributed to defensive improvement. It was a great sight to see!

Defense was head & shoulders better!

Just count the number of missed tackles this week compared to the last 2 weeks.....

D was much better, not many gaping holes for their RB's and the most QB pressure all year. Chief finally calling the blitz. better tackling.

CBS, well Verne and Gary, thought LSU D was good, they awarded LSU's D the player of the game.
