Pressure Brady and hit him until he crumbles. Controll the ball no turnovers and we win! WHO DAT .

Establish a running game.

What if we implemented some kind of system where a player gets paid money for knocking out or hurting a QB etc.?

Do not turn the ball over! Enter the endzone more than the other team! Tackle their players! Have more points at the end of the game!

not what I meant at all. Fine sack brady. Is that better?

Don't let the Pats score as many points as the Saints.

Don't turn the ball over. Hands down the most parallel stat to winning games.

You mean playing defense?

Blitz his arse all game like we did the last time we played them.
All game Rob, not only the first half like yesterday.

Would love to see a repeat of the 2009 Monday night game where we basically forced Brady to give up and he went and sat on the bench like a little baby with 5 mins left in the game.
I will never forget that game for as long as I live. Not many expected us to beat them much less spank them like a bunch of red-headed step children.

Lot of smart asses in this thread. The best gameplan for the Pats:
-Set the tone with a pounding running game. The Pats are giving up 116 yards a game on the ground, which ranks them at 23rd in the NFL. And with Wilfork out for the year, it's going to get worse. As it did with the Bears, a commitment to the running game will open up holes for Brees later.
-Use Graham and Sproles to attack the middle of the field. On paper, the Pats are solid against the pass. They have a quality corner (Talib) and are rated in the top 10 in passing yards surrendered. But look closer. Four of the five QBs they have faced were EJ Manuel, Geno Smith, Josh Freeman and Andy Dalton. When they played against their one capable passer, Matt Ryan, he raped them for 421 yards. Their linebackers couldn't contain Tony Gonzalez (12 catches, 149 yards and 2 touchdowns), so I expect a huge day from Graham.
-On defense, the key is sack Brady early and often. Brady is the best QB the Saints have played this season but he's also the least mobile. Ryan has to capitalize on this and send some well-timed, well-disguised blitz packages his way.

Just play our best. Our best is currently significantly better than theirs.

Pray that the Pats bring the lube before they go in rawdog on that saints defense

You guys will handle the Pats easily. Your D pressure just from your front line will be enough to rattle Brady. Their receivers don't look that great.
Just don't turn the ball over more than 1x and y'all will win by 13+ pts.

Its set up for Pats success.....they're coming home off a road loss and the Saints are playing for the second week in a row on the road. One of those points to a Pats victory, both points to a long day for the Saints.
Having said that, if the def keeps up the good work and keeps improving, who knows but with the way the league generally works, its going to be exceptionally hard to win this game.
I like the challenge though.

You're a Patriots and LSU fan? Let me guess, you're also a Cardinals/Red Sox fan, Miami Heat fan, and how many dicks have you sucked in the last week? Guesstimation will suffice.
