I am as concerned about the defense as anybody

We seem to only have 1 playmaker step up so far in each level with Ego on the line, Kwon in the LB corp, and Eugene in the secondary. (Though Freak and Tre white seemed to step up a bit).
But our offense scoring so fast has got to be a little different from what we've done the last few years and that affects the defense in multiple ways. We can no longer look at total yards allowed and judge the defense with as fast as this offense is scoring right now. It's no surprise they score a bit more than we expect. We have expected our offense to grind it out and score by pounding it on the ground. We are scoring so fast through gashes in he running game and easy pitch and catches in the passing game, that its got to affect the defense.

Defense gave up 10 legit points all the while running a bland scheme and playing every kid on the roster. I don't see why the sky is falling

This is the best thread of the night.
Maybe of the week.
It is beautiful in its simplicity, yet it adequately evokes a sense of angst and forboding while also capturing the essence of what it means to be a worried fan together.
