IMO Reminds me a lot of what he use to do in high school at the quarterback position. What do you guys think?

I don't think Trovon was ever quite on Speedy's level, but Trovon would win games for Thibodaux almost single handedly. He would just take over a game. I saw him play QB, HB, WR, CB and Safety. Dude was all over the field. His game definitely didn't convert to college very well, though.
Pretty sure that wont be the case with Speedy and IMO, Russell Gage would be a better comparison to Trovon than speedy.

Well, then let's pray to God that Speedy doesn't turn out to be Trovon.

There is a large difference between the two. Trovon Reed's best position was corner, and he should be playing there now. Speedy is too good with the ball in his hands to play corner.

I just can't fathom speedy, fournette, Quinn, Dupree and Harris all at the same time. Sione for change of pace. Mother of god.

Speedy is in a diff class than Reed. Reed was a good looking high school prospect. But, every year, there are guys like Reed. There arent that many guys out there like Noil. Hes a rare, freak prospect.

I liked both, but Speedy competed against better comp and is just more explosive, so he gets the advantage..

I think Speedy is far more elite than Reed ever was. Reed was a good player no doubt but Speedy is on another level, IMO.

I agree. Speedy could be compared to Percy Harvin. With Coach Cam now at LSU, Speedy could be utilized like Darren Sprowles at S.D.

Speedy should be a top 10-15 player in the country IMO. Maybe top 5. Louisiana is so sick this year.

Trovon beat Destrehan, Mc35, St Thomas More, St Paul, tore up a Honeybadger led St Aug 31-14, lost to Dutchtown by a TD, and lost to eventual state champion WM in the quarterfinals his senior year despite missing half the season with a high ankle sprain.

I'd say the competition is pretty comparable to what Speedy is going up against 4-5 tough games and a bunch of other teams no where near as good. Speedy however is playing with a much more talented team than Trovon ever played with at Thibodaux. Especially when talking offensive weapons, Trovon was the entire Thibodaux offense.

That said Speedy is definitely more explosive, and nothing like Trovon other than they are college WR's playing QB. Trovon was tall lanky and Noil is a few inches shorter and solidly built. Speedy has much more speed, but Trovon was fluid as hell and shifty. If you want to compare Speedy to someone from the bayou he looks much more like a faster Elijah McGwire than he does Trovon.
