I live in Augusta, Georgia and haven't eaten boudin in years because the stores around here just haven't stocked it.

But Krogers just started carrying bouidin sausage, and on an impulse I bought it. The brand name is Zummos.

What is a good side dish to go with a meal of bouidin?

never heard of Zummos but good boudin does not need a side, a meal in it self

rice, meat, veggies

Good boudin is a meal by itself.

They sell it up here in NELA. Needless to say it's not in the same ball park as the real thing, but it's edible. The other morning I steamed two links and ate it with a couple fried eggs. It made for a tasty breakfast. It's not bad as a pepper stuffing either..

I bought some (on impulse) as well from Kroger & it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Had it for breakfast of scrambled eggs & sliced tomatoes.

French bread and butter. Spread with uncased boudin. Enjoy.
