12 team league and my draft was kind of disappointing. I am seriously thinking about starting Arian Foster at RB and Ben Tate in the flex.

I just feel like there is more of a chance of Tate having double digit fantasy points than Mendenhall, Kenny Britt, or Shonn Greene. Non PPR by the way.

Anybody else going all in with the Texans Running game?

Its bold, and I dont think it will pay off. Of those options, I would start Mendenhall.

If you're comfortable with 6 or 7 points from Tate, go for it. It's certainly attainable.

I have mendy in now, but that knee worries me. Gonna have to wait for some more updates on that knee.

I think Tate outscores Mendenhall

This is exactly why i passed on Foster.

For some reason i like Britt over all those options. His QB may suck but it sounds like he got his head on straight this year. Could be dangerous in the redzone for some TDs over what i think will be a meh Pitt defense

But Tate/Foster is probably safer than that

I think Foster is good to go. They will take it easy this week and maybe next week, but after that they will ride Foster all year.

I'd play them both. Think they both get in the end zone.

I think they are going to cut back his load a ton, they want him fresh for the playoffs. I just didnt see him as the #2 runningback like some places.

Foster/Tate and Rice/Pierce workload breakdowns will be very similar this year..

so 2 roster spots to get what you used to get from one guy? Hope you didn't use a top 5 pick on him.

well they won't be splitting carries in week 12. If foster is healthy you get top 5 production. If he's hurt you prob have a top 10 back in Tate. I took foster in every league that I could get him.

being as im down -11 I have a strong need for 11.5 points from either Foster OR Tate against Chargers tomorrow.

With the news that the carries are right down middle split 50-50 per Coach Kubiak who is worried about Arian workload since he missed all preseason.

I am thinking Tate should be able to get dozen PPR points right but who is the "safer" pick at this point if you had to make call between the two?
