I'm not sure, my apologies, but I do have a TV programming question.

Is beIN only available with the most expensive package on DirecTV, or can it be added a la carte? If a la carte is possible, how much does it cost?

I *think* you can add the regional sports tier a la carte.

Yeah, there's a special sports package you can buy as an add-on.

DTV already has all their EPL channels ready...

I haven't seen anything yet. I shall keep looking every night though.

FYI - spent 15 minutes on hold while the Cox customer service guy tried to figure it out.

It looks like its too new of an announcement and the details have not been given to them.

But he said they should have it for this weekend.

He was not sure if it would be in HD or just standard def.

So, tl;dr - Cox doesn't know what they are doing yet, but it should be active this weekend.

Glad that DTV doesn't have me worried about the channels!

If DTV has them in HD, I think Cox will as well.

Always have firstrow. I'm actually getting used to watching the games in a Mattel football quality.

NBC has stated they are only making ExtraTime available in HD. So it's HD or No-D.

From my understanding, you could watch all of the games from the NBC Sports live extra app in HD.

So my HOA said no satellites.

But I talked Cox into matching DTVs price and got NBC Sports. And I read on world soccer talk that Cox picked up the Live Extra app.
