I understand the banter here is generally more high brow. However, I am curious as to what the epicureans of tigerdroppings would cook if using a crockpot.

Any recipe ideas are greatly appreciated.

I've recently discovered ribs. Cut em into 4 rib portions, apply your favorite rub, spray the crock (or rub) lightly with oil and turn it on to low. No liquid needed.

You can eat as is when done, or put em on a baking sheet and crisp up/apply sauce in an oven to taste.

Nothing wrong with using a crock pot. I have a great turkey pot pie with a cornbread crust recipe somewhere. I'll post it when I find it.

Try a search, Meridian Dog has an infamous recipe for pulled pork. It may also include pics of his yard if you're lucky.

I forgot about this. I used to make it all the time.

Edit: from the linked thread above.

just put the word "lazy" in front of your normal dish and use that recipe .. except instead of cooking just throw all the ingredients in the crock pot then get back to your GoT marathon or 8 straight hours of X-Box

I'll second the ribs comment. Have some in the crock pot as I type. Covered in creole mustard and rub.
