dig a hole under camp that will hold the bucket. put a gallon of water or the battery acid out of an old battery in the bucket. bungee a feed sack or dog food sack over the bucket and trim the excess from below the bungee. varnish the top of the plastic sack with two coats, when the second coat is applied throw pecans on it. let dry. cut and X in it.

Drill a hole in side of bucket close to the bottom. Thread your long extension cord male plug end through hole - long enough to reach your electrical plug. Coil the extension cord up in the bucket. Keeps it neat, properly stored and convenient to carry around the yard or jobsite. when the cord is coiled in the bucket for storage, just put lid on bucket and you are done. This will easily store a 150-200 foot extension cord. Normally the cord won't kink or get twisted or tangled up when you pull it out the top. Cord goes back in quickly and easily.
