What Steps Do You Take When Changing Address?

I am moving in a week and I have been making a master list of places to call and alert of my new address. What are some suggested steps by the MT, and things that some people do not think about when changing address?
So far I have all of my utilities ready for the transfer. I have a form here too that I am going to fill out and dump into the mailbox for mail forwarding. Lastly I have a list of places to call and update my mailing information for going forward.
This isn't the first time I have moved, although it is the first time I have had all of my bills sent to my current address instead of a select few accounts being sent there.

You can do the USPS mail forwarding online instead of snail mailing it.
Sounds like you have a good plan in place.

Yeah, do it online. It costs $1. Moving sucks because of all the stupid arse address changes. Especially for online accounts. I feel like I have like 5 different addresses between accounts on amazon, ebay, yahoo, chase, Scottrade, computershare, etc etc etc

When we sold our house a few years back we changed our billing address with many of our utiltiy and credit card companies. We forwarded our mail with the post office. I also left a large envelope with our new address and plenty of postage with the new owner. I asked him to put any important looking stuff in the envelope and after about 3 or 4 weeks send it to me. Actually got a few things like magazines and some stuff from my old high school and from LSU.

I moved less than a month ago. I did the USPS moving thing online for $1. Change all your utilities but that should be a given with the move.
I made a list of all my CC's and banks and then went and changed them online.
License/Registration I did online also.
All was fairly easy and was done on the computer at work or home.
Good luck!

Don't forget to change your netflix.
I just moved as well and I did it, but the previous tenant had not.
I got real fricking confused when I got the wrong movie.

That is clever giving postage to the new tenant. Where I am renting is basically going to be college students filling in after me so I am not crossing my fingers on providing them with envelopes and expecting my mail to arrive. So far everyone's feedback has been great

I've lived at my current house for now over 10 years, I still get shite sent to the original of the house, & she's not even the person I bought the house from.
