I am looking into new waders for the coming duck season. I am usually all in on Lacross and the waders I am looking st are:
Lacrosse Brush Tough Extreme ATS 1600gm Max 4 HD Waders
I am not hearing and reading really anything but bad reviews on these. Any one peurchase these or have an opinion?
Also, because of this I have looked into Hodgeman Waders:
Hodgeman Dura Mag Chest Waders 1600gm
What does the OB say on both above?

These will come in handy 3x during a Louisiana duck season IMO. They'll be hot as Hades the rest of the season.

My pair leaked in the crotch after one season.
Before that I always had lacrosse with no complaints.
However, I caught MPW Big Ditch waders on sale and bought a pair on the last weekend of the season last year because they were on clearance. Seemed legit, but I've only worn them 3 times so far...

To re-affirm what eyepooted and Chessie said....Cabelas. They really are good waders (the ones without the integral boots.)

I have only had 2 brands of waders, lacrosse 3.5 mil neoprene with 600 grams of thinsulate and a pair of red heads with the same specs. I had 3 pair of the lacrosse and all leaked in the crotch after 3 season or less. I got the red heads on ebay for $40, 4seasons and they leak around the knees now so I am not sure what I am going to get.
I will look at the cabelas. Thanks!

I have a pair of these that I wear in the timber. If you do a lot of walking, skip these! I have a pair of 600gm I break our when hunting the rice fields.

Where do you plan on hunting?
I hope not Louisiana. Even on the "cold" days you'll die of heat exhaustion in 1600 gram waders

I have Drake 1300 gram waders (leak in the crotch) that are hot as shite. Like others said, if you do alot of walking I would drop down on the insulation. When I walk alot, my legs and feet are drenched in sweat.

Don't know if they are still made but I have a pair of Rocky waders that I've had for close to 13 years. They are just about done but I won't give up until they start to leak. Not sure what I'll get then.
