I thought I could dip stuff in it when fishing or dribble it off the boat. Anyone had any success using this in any manner?

If you get some wrap it 5 times and never leave it anywhere with 4 walls and a roof.

it's probably full of omega-3s. in Old Man and the Sea they had a big drum of fish oil that the old dudes would drink from every day.
idk about using it for fishing lure dip. i don't put any stock into that crap.

I've had success with it for catfish. Should work for any fish that relies heavily on smell.

Bet that shite smells ripe
One time I had audit/take inventory at a menhaden plant near Abbeville. My jeep stunk for weeks just from driving home afterwards and my boots never got over it.
Their stuff was not for human consumption at the time, just for fish/animal feed supplements. I bet it would make good chum though.

This is what you use to catch coons with.

Sounds like more downside than upside...

It is good for making chum. Mix with your fish and bait parts and freeze to put in your chum bucket.

I once had a friend in the coast guard tell me "If I pull up to a pogey boat and the guy tells me there are 13 bales of cocaine under the pogeys, I'd let him go with a warning."

We use it in our chum for offshore fishing. Makes a nice chum slick.

When I had my soft plastic bait company I would use menhaden, kicking bass, anise and crawfish scents in my baits. Like others have said, don't spill it cause the smell will be forever burned in your nostrils.

Spent several weeks working at a chemical plant across from the Omega Proteins plant in Moss Point, MS. The junior level engineers all had offices close to the entry doors, because every morning, the smell would start creeping in like permafrost. The plant manager's office was smack in the middle-she said most days, when it reached her office, she knew it was time to go home for the day.
I mentioned in another thread that my mangrove chum is a mix of elbow macaroni, canned catfood and pogie oil. And a bucket with a really tight lid, stashed inside an icechest for secondary containment. Prepare for said bucket and icechest to be rendered useless from that point on.
