So we traded the 6th overall pick in 2013, and a 1st rounder in a projected loaded draft (2014), to bump up our PER rating @ the PG position by .4 of a point?
He's a 1-year All-star in a conference devoid of a ton of great PGs.
In the process, we put a dent in our cap space.
Why is this move so great again? Serious question. I'm not trolling - I'm ready to be convinced.

Jrue is one of the best Point guard defenders in the NBA. Greivis is one of the worst.

This. PER is not the be all end all stat because it does almost nothing when factoring in defense. Vasquez is a good point, Jrue is a fricking great point.
