And Vasquez will be the backup. That;s stacked at the PG spot.

Jrue flat out embarrassed Vasquez in 2 meetings last year.

Holiday 29/11 14/12
Vasquez 15/4 7/7

We're in a division with Tony Parker. We need a pg who plays defense unlike Vasquez.

We can't count on Gordon.

I think it was a huge mistake passing on McLemore.

Now we still can't score and the scrub we get in the second round won't be able to help either.

I really hope we have a trade in place

Love holiday and I'm pumped he is a Pelican...but I will say that I feel like we gave up a lot with next years draft being so crazy in addition to limiting our cap space

I'm not against it at all I just need someone to convince me that this won't hamstring us

Drafts are never as good as they're hyped up to be. Last year was supposed to be insane and it just turned out to be a pretty decent draft.

Look at it like this. We improved both our starting lineup and bench. Gravy is better than Roberts

If we get a pick worth a shite next year then we keep it anyway and we just used part of our cap space to get a frickING 23 YEAR OLD ALL STAR. I feel like this site needs an option to increase font size because a lot of people are missing the 23 YEAR OLD ALL STAR part that we got for a 200 pound center and a pick that we get to keep if we have a chance at Wiggins.

Ha, I like winning too

You really can take stats make them favorable for any argument. If you have to ask or wonder how much better Holiday is compared Vasquez, then you haven't watched much basketball.

This. PER is not the be all end all stat because it does almost nothing when factoring in defense. Vasquez is a good point, Jrue is a fricking great point.

To say nothing about how even if it did factor in defense, one stat alone in a vacuum is so inconclusive.

I mean a stat that measures how many points scored by people you were guarding doesn't account for switches where someone didn't rotate. Mismatches in the post that resulted in fouls and two made points.

Stats are dumb objects. They exist to be used in conjunction with common sense.

Exactly. I dare the OP to watch Jrue's game footage last year and say he isn't monumentally better than Greivis.
