In fact, my first thought was that these clowns knew they would get canned.
I thought the same thing. They had to know nothing good was going to come from it.
a few posts above, or maybe on the page before, one of the guys made a remark about the station being a sinking ship. And that he was relieved in some way it is over now.

You could definitely tell they knew it was a bad idea. I almost got a sense from them that they didn't think anyone was really listening anyway.
Looking back at what transpired I was thinking about the reaction. The term "bully" has been absolutely beaten to death and overused over the past few years. I think this, however, was a perfect example. These guys were mocking the lifespan of a guy who can't breath, move, or talk on his own, but is still working for the betterment of others. He has no normal way of even confronting them on it or calling them out, outside of print. Decent people from all over saw that.

Just listened to it and I have no words to describe how incredibly distasteful, classless, and unfunny that was. Those are the types of assholes that would laugh at seeing an old lady getting mugged.

Michael Church syndicated on Sirius just gave Tigerdroppings all the credit for getting these clowns fired.

Exactly. This is what I don't understand about a couple of posters in here complaining about how far saints fans are going.. I'm proud of every person in here for standing up for a guy who really can't and standing up against a group of complete assholes.

One voice in the radio (NOT the one "supposed" to be Steve) says "I don't want to play" ... someone seems to have known that it wasn't right ...
That was Chris Dimino. Out of all of them, he comes across as the one who seemed to have some level headedness to him. What he chose to be a part of was dumb, and a very poor choice, but looking at his career as a whole, he is the one I have a little bit of sadness for. As he said yesterday, "I know that this is not who I ultimately am, but it is who I am today". He made a bad decision, paid for it with his job. Hopefully he learns from it, and is able to move on in the sports world somewhere, because he really does know his shite...especially when it comes to the Braves.

In sports page of USA Today they show Fujita's tweet and talk about how comment first appeared on Saints message board.
"A Saints message board first reported the segment, which was then tweeted by Gleason’s good friend and former Saints teammate Scott Fujita."
Then it shows Fujita's tweet

There is (or I guess in this case WAS)another radio morning show that goes by "Mayhem in the AM" in some other part of the country. Their FB page was bombarded with people thinking it was that station that did this 'skit'.

Just played it on Howard Stern. He wasn't that offended by it but was offended by how terribly unfunny they were.

They probably all come up with the production bits together and all sign off together. One goes down, they all go down.
