now I want to complain

When the pairings first came out and we were the 4 seed, I didn't understand why but I came up with a theory where it was a way to ensure that if LSU and Vandy played again it would be in the championship series.
Now that Vandy is eliminated I'm wondering what other reason we weren't the 3 seed. That bracket so far is looking like it's not going to have any national seeds.

North Carolina won the best conference...and got seeded 1.
Vandy won the second best conference and got seeded 2.
Oregon State won the third best conference and got seeded 3.
LSU was the best of the rest and got seeded 4.
Pretty simple to understand.

I think he's complaining that the selection committee knew the results of the games before they happened and put us in the side with less upsets, but I could be wrong

Ugh, WHO CARES?
Yeah, I get it, 4 is less than 2, but guess what...
Kansas St and Louisville are both FAR better teams than Oklahoma. What does it matter if they gave us a lower number... they gave us a much easier road to Omaha than Vandy or OSU. That's a good deal in my opinion.
FWIW, I am very confident that we would have beaten K-State, Louisville, or any regional host that they could have thrown at us, but if OU had gone to Vandy, Vandy wouldn't have beaten them as badly as we did, but they would have beaten them.

I think his complaint was that Stevie Wonder could see that LSU got shafted with the 4. Vandy got hooked up in a bracket with three obvious frauds. UNC and CSF were tougher on paper than ANY national seed Vandy could have faced. Who knew Fullerton's bats and defense would let themselves down so badly? But that's why the game isn't played on paper
