I think our recruiting has been just fine. The SEC doing well is good for LSU. Probably helps our recruiting more than it hurts it

I love how everyone freaks out the second a Louisiana recruit commits somewhere else as if we don't steal recruits from other states

saban is a recruiting machine though without him we'd get a lot of recruits that went to bama. many recruits put bama and lsu as their top 2 and a lot end up choosing bama. i'm not saying we aren't doing well in recruiting i'm saying without bama's current dynasty we'd be even better

Then that has nothing to do with where the recruits are from. LSU and Bama have been the two best college football teams the last couple of years so they get the most competition from each other for recruits. Some choose LSU, some choose Bama. And I'm fairly happy with our last recruiting class and how our next one is shaping up.
But this is all beside the point. Thing is, Spurs aren't even in my top 5 NBA teams and the Heat are # 1 on that list. So my options for the Finals are to either not watch or pull for the Spurs

i'm happy with where we are but we could be even better if we didn't have to recruit against a team with 3 titles in 4 years, that's a pretty legit selling point to a recruit on the fence.
