t was pathetic to watch "lifelong LSU fans" yelling Roll Tide Roll because they wanted to keep the streak alive, or because they just didn't like ND.

No what is pathetic is that you are that worried about pointless shite.

If it hurt the Pelicans even a little bit then go Heat go. But the Pels aren't there. Its just rooting for good ole fashion no flash team basketball vs. a bunch of fake tough guys.

Who you root for in your head or on a message board or on twitter or on Facebook has no bearing on the game or the Pelican organization.

As a basketball fan you hope for 7 games and don't give 2 shits who wins. Either way you get to say you witnessed the likely ending of a great legacy (spurs) or the beginning of another (heat). Just enjoy the game

I'll only enjoy the game if Wade can stay on his feet and stop flopping like a bitch.

But you're right, I do wanna see good, competitive basketball.

Bron, cp3s good friend, laid out the path to success for cp3.

I'd much rather cheer for a team who waited for their titles, utilizing good coaching and smart draft picks, than a team who was brought together by betraying small markets. As a fan of a small market, that is.

It's really worked out well for CP

CP will likely never win a championship in LA or will be moving to a smaller market.

Didn't work out for us either, and don't be surprised to see CP3 somewhere different with Dwight next year.

Its a legit point, the Heat and Spurs were built in completely different ways, and the SA model is a small market model that hopefully we can follow to win a championship. But as long as the Heat keep winning, more and more superstars are going to continue to try to go team up with other superstars in a large market to win a title because they think its the only way it can be done.

It might be somewhat of a stretch, but I understand the reasoning behind it

Nice phrasing. Furthermore, I don't like the heat players as people while the spurs and pop make the nba a better place. Timmy is classy, manu was barely picked from his small south american community. Parker has very hard work ehic and much less talent than bron but still shines.

Their flippers, and dirt balls. Does no one remember how dirty they are?

Floppers? Lol didn't bron just get fined for flopping? Bosh is a douche and treated the raptors like chit. This will be the 2nd time the spurs beat bron in the finals, it'll be a great success story and a testament to loyalty, humble character, and hard work and intellect over talent and rule bending.

If i was as bold as you op, i might even say, if you are a fan of western civilization, you should root for the spurs.
