Haven't been posting much on the OB since hunting season, but I come hat in hand bearing a question. Wtf do you raise peacocks for? I attended a wedding on a farm yesterday and the farm owner raised peacocks. Pretty birds for sure, but can you eat them or their eggs? Any OB'ers ever raise them? Once I get my place in order and quit working on the road so much I might be looking to get an assortment of critters to fill the yard with.

Hard boiled peacock eggs are like candy...

sweet, yet very rich and filling.

Yeah there's a reason. So they can holler really loudly, climb all over your cars, shite on the roof when they roost on it and that's about it.

Oh, and my 2 year old calls them a Pa-cock. He loves em. Pa-cocks, not cocks. I hope.

I knew of a ranch in Wyoming that had them for rattlesnake control. Apparently they are as good as a king snake.
