Figured Mainieri wanted to keep the rotation from last week through the rest of the season. Makes sense for continuity's sake.

I know that they started Glenn last Thursday because of the short week, but is anybody else a little worried about messing up a good thing?

We started our ace on Fridays all season long, and only lost one series (the one win of which was the first game.)

No, starting Glenn on Thursday from here on out does two things, Keeps Nola and Eades on normal schedule and it puts Glenn on a normal schedule for the first game of the regional when we play the SWAC champ.

Broski is correct, this sets up perfectly for us. Glenn can get accustomed to starting the opening game of the series. Works out well for Regionals, although you will probably see it reversed for supers.

Yea I was hoping he stuck with this actually sets up for us to win a few in sec tourney I think better this way eades clinches regional an Nola clinches super nice scenario !

The move is risky in potentially losing a pair of series openers since the aces for TAMU and OM are excellent but it sets up extreme advantages for LSU to win at least 2 of 3. Let's face it...2 of 3 in each series makes the SEC West and a national seed total locks.

There always has to be that "one guy" who questions everything, no matter how much sense it makes.

ESPNU picked up UF and A&M before the season. Everyone plays Thurs-Sat last weekend of season due to SEC tourney

Lets be honest I'd take our 1/2 vs everyone in the country's 2/3 every day of the week odds would be in our favor with that matchup except If a team like arky throws there ace second

Last series of the year is always thursday - saturday, which accounts for OM.

ESPNU also picks one SEC Series each week to highlight on the thursday game, and adjusts that series to thursday-saturday as well, which is what's happening for Fla and aTm. (OM is also going to be on ESPNU on Thursday, but would have been on thursday regardless)

I do wonder how we will handle against Ole Miss. I think it depends on if they will start Bobby Wahl on Thursday or Friday.
