Our lowes has a good selection, from $100.00 to a $1790.00 unit on a trailer.

Look for enough space to grill the number of burgers steaks you will be cooking, and good grills - the better teh grills are (heavier, better material, etc) the better you will like the grill next year. I am not a fan of porcelan grills because (six months later)the porcelan cracks and breaks off - maybe in your burger. I like cast iron grills, or heavy wire grills.

I like charcoal for taste and gas for ease of use. Lowes has a unit with gas on one end and charcoal on the other.

If you have the time, shop around.

I am a gas man. Webber makes a damn fine grill, and you can get started with one of the "spirit" class grills for around $400 I think.

I'm not a fan of buying the cheapest shite out there, even if it comes with a bunch of bells and whistles.

Charcoal man here......

U can get a decent barrell grill at Lowes for $125.... $160 or so with the smoke box: Chargriller

If ur not a novice and have the $ to blow, get a Big Green Egg.

As Meridian said tho, there are some pretty decent charcoal/gas combo grills for $300 or so.

Of course, if you dont entertain folks or have no close family, cant beat a large round weber.

Go here LINK / and scroll down about midway to Smoking Supplies and equipment. Spend a little while researching and asking questions. You will feel much more comfortable about your choice whatever it is. Knowledge is power.

That pic shows a gas grill. Do you want gas or charcoal?
