None of BR does. All of NOLA does.

Know what I just thought about? Think about all of the fish poop in rivers and stuff. I mean we swim in that!

"he says the sewage that makes its way into the river is being diluted by the rain-swollen waterway."

Next time I crap my pants I'll have to remember to piss all over my britches to dilute it.

In Portland, OR, a guy got caught peeing in a reservoir of treated drinking water and the city decided to spend 34k draining it. all the experts were saying that such a small amount in an 8 million gallon reservoir would be so diluted that you could never no it was there

Well, those Portlanders would sure gag if they ever got a taste of sulfur water or iron water which is in a lot of the wells here in the mountains. Generations of people here grew up not knowing what good water tastes like. First time I ever tasted iron water, I thought I had a mouthful of epsom salts. And sulfur water tastes and smells like rotten eggs, literally.

New Orleans gets it's water from the Mississippi but they treat it.

I'll take bottled water, probably no better

Baton Rouge sewage discharges their end stage treated water into the river.

Most plants are required to use a disinfectant to kill whatever bacteria/virus' remain because of the concentration being sent into a small lake, stream, or bayou is so high.

Since the river flow is so large compared to what the city sends to it they are not required to disinfect the flow.

Dilution is the solution to pollution.
