I frankly have not touched the macro keys once. I also do not give a shite if the function keys and printscrn are mechanical. I wish they would make like a k85 where they get rid of the macros off the k90 and offer it in browns. Whatever, i got this one for like 90 bucks.

That would be a nice keyboard. I went with the TK version because I wanted the smaller form factor of the rapid fire but I wanted a number pad too. It nice and is very well constructed with thick aluminum. It probably weighs 5 pounds. Stout hates the sound of the MX blues over Skype but I love the sound and tactile feedback I get from them.

ILikeLSUToo Cant thank you enough for such a solid reply. Made me realize what a computer tard I am and how little research I had actually done. Just think if I had actually bought that rig...
Luckily, with the help you have given me and the rest of the replies on this board I should be able to manage to not frick it up. Once I leave work and finish shopping around I'll post my final build specs, and then later hopefully upload some pics of my new baby. I hope to one day be as helpful as the rest of you are to the newbies. I shall one day join the ELITE of the MASTER RACE!

tbh you didn't do a bad job for a first time with little research. Its going to be a quality build.

I can't use a mechanical keyboard because my pc is in the master bedroom. My wife would kill me from hearing all that clickity clack. Imagine if I'd typed that long post on a mechanical keyboard while my wife was trying to nap.
