Any suggestions? Besides the obligatory Godfather, Scarface, and Goodfellas.

Miller's Crossing is the best

Road To Perdition, while self indulgent at times, is great as well

Of the ones mentioned, City of God is probably my favorite, followed by A Bronx Tale.

+1, love a Bronx tale. Although the kid actor is better than the teenage actor

I worked with Francis Capra on a film a few years ago in Temecula. Cool guy, but was very wannabe gangster like and had some trashy chick with him

You know the kid who played the older Calogero is in prison? Him and a friend robbed and killed an off duty cop.
