What is the best call to do a cajun squel. Echo , RNT, DC or etc. is a double Reed better or single reed. Thanks

Thy haydels call hat is made for this.....

Haydels Cajun squeal is probably the best call for an inexperienced caller to use for this....

I am assuming you are inexperienced

Any will work. Start cheap till you get some confidence then upgrade. Practice, practice,practice.....
For the record I use a DC Sarge and a Wingsetter 5 in 1

Call that sounds like a mallard with a gullet full of grain

What you're looking for with the Cajun squeal is back pressure called hold in duck calling. The short barrel or old style by rnt are going to be your best bet. Fwiw once you get good at it you will be able to do it on any call. I have an MVP that let's me stand behind that theory.

I can do if fairly easy with my RNT short barrel.

Eta: I find it easier to do with a single reed

Double reed is like training wheels. If all you're trying to do is go straight then keep em on.
