I hope Saints fans and/or residents of the greater new orleans area truly understand and appreciate how much Dave Dixon did for the city. His vision of building the biggest dome possible not only awarded us an NFL team, but to this day it continues to bring in billions of dollars for this city and state annually.

The Dome was quite the site to see when it was actually under construction. It definitely stood out!!

Does anyone else remember when Channel 8, with Alec Gifford, Buddy D., and Nash Roberts, did the nightly news from inside the Superdome (right where the 50 yard line would be) during construction?
