I drove by it the other day. Good location. The layout seems pretty neat. Has anyone been? I would like to go there with my dad tonight and was wondering if its worth it.

Yea I know another gormet burger place in new Orleans

I went with the chef recommended bison burger. Don't recall what cheese was on it, but it had a crispy tasso topping, spinach, tomato, and I want to say a spicy mayo on the house bun. I ordered it medium and it was very juicy for bison. Everything is very very fresh here. All meats are grinded in house and they even hand make the buns. The layout kind if sucks but I went early and didn't have any issue with service. Bison Burger comes with chips for $15. One of the better burgers I've had anywhere.

I'm gonna go with the Elk next visit. Friend who works there swears on the Kobe burger with the praline bacon.

Where's the antelope slaughterhouse in New Orleans?

It might be tasty but it seems like $15 for a burger and chips may prevent it from being a regular go to spot for most people.

$15 is pretty common for a burger of this quality in my opinion. The house burger is $11.

The antelope slaughter house is on the Westbank.

Is it a true farm-to-table burger joint?

the antelope must be flown in first class from the Arabian Peninsula direct to MSY. transportation and fuel is added to the food cost resulting in the $15 price tag.

It is good, but as others mentioned, it seems slightly overpriced in my opinion. For $16 I would rather the burger from Luke.
