I for years I have been on the crown royal, makers mark, and V.O. gold trend. Can anyone suggest anything similar in price to try?

Pretty much all $18-$30 bourbons are better than those IMO.

If you like wheated bourbons like Makers, try WL Weller

If you like more rye, try Bulleit

Anything that Buffalo Trace Distillery makes is pretty good, even Ancient Age

Around the low 20's is Buffalo Trace, high 20's-30 is Woodford Reserve.

I find Elmer T Lee to be the best bang for you buck. Great taste. Real smooth. Easily my go to bourbon for every day. I love the stuff.

I was going to suggest Elmer T Lee. Basil Hayden is pretty good as well and runs about $35. If you want something on the sweet side like Crown, you may want to give Four Roses a shot too, it probably runs a little higher than $35.

Although considering the arse water you've been drinking it really doesn't matter.

1792... Lighter in body, similar to maker's... Around $25 bucks. Eagle Rare, Noah's Mill, Basil Hayden.
