I like Makers. 10yr Old Charter is hard to beat as well.
GentleMan Jack is very smooth.

When compared against Elmer T Lee, Eagle Rare, Basel Hayden's, Blanton's, or some others in similar price range... I just feel like it's not even in the same ball park. But that's just me

Blanton's is a tad higher then most of those listed. It's damn good.

Booker's is a little less expensive, also not as good as Blanton's. Think it's from the Jim Beam Line.

It's worth a try.

That's what I drink at home. Three cubes of ice and a splash of water.

Good suggestions in here...

Basil Hayden is a good "light" drinking one. Four Roses SB is one of my favourites right now. Elmer T Lee is a solid one but nothing too special. For something you should be able to find everywhere, give Woodford a shot...

For under $30, a few pretty good ones are

- Elmer T. Lee
- W.L. Weller 12 year
- Elijah Craig 12 year

Another poster here brought a bottle to my house. It did not last long. Best straight drinker I've ever had.

If you like four roses try rock hill farms.. pretty similar and equally good if not a little better.
