i never despise athletes for some of the stuff they do that isn't "outrageous"

lebron and the decision? eh who cares, its his choice bad PR move, but you hate him because he isn't perfect? news flash he isn't, but neither are you. he wanted to win, so he moved to win. he also probably wanted that florida no tax to bank. genius arse idea.

ron artest and the brawl? ill chuck a beer at you for no reason, you gonna give me some Jesus stuff and turn your cheek? I guarandamntee half of you would chase me down. I know he got some anger issues and I don't despise him. I'm sure we all have some kind of anger issue

tiger woods and infidelity? people do this everyday. what makes you think his life as home wasn't shite? we don't know the story, how does it make you HATE him though? I don't even feel that bad for elin with the amount of shite she got from him.

now if we're going to rape, abuse, etc articles/athletes that's a bit different because that's straight vicious of any human being, but I'd be compassionate with the victim and hope the justice system deals with the offence. I just don't see how I would despise/hate athletes for things they do when I see it all the time.

Um, I would point to security who's job is to take care of it instead of throw away my career (should have been a career ender anyway).

I'm not sure anyone transformed his image more radically in my lifetime than George Foreman.

Muhammad Ali.

Although I think there's a very good argument that Ali didn't actually do anything to transform his image; people's understanding and perception came around to support his actions.

I don't dislike Ali for draft dodging (no one should be forced to go to war against their will). I don't like him for his mouth.
