Seems like over the last few years small local breweries have been popping up all over the state. I know there has been plenty of discussion about the different beer that Louisiana breweries offer on this board, but looking through the search I couldn't find a thread dedicated to hearing what everyone's specific favorites were. Interested to hear the always differing opinions of this board.

If just listing one favorite it would probably be
LA 31 Biere Pale

Also enjoy:
NOLA Brown Ale
Tin Roof Voodoo Bengal Pale Ale
Tin Roof Parade Grounds Coffee Porter (Name is too long but I had one on tap and enjoyed it)
Abita Andygator
Abita SOS

Never had
NOLA Hopitoulas IPA but apparently I need to try it, the highest rated Louisiana Beer on rateabeer.

NOLA Irish Channel Stout. Parish Grand Reserve is great, but is a limited release beer.

Hurricane Saison by Nola, but I'm hoping Parish Farmhouse IPA will replace it. We need more belgian/french styles in this state. I also need to try the new Bayou Teche saison.

NOLA Blonde and Canebrake. I don't drink beer much and prefer light easy drinkers because of the weather.

I haven't tried a ton of local beers but Parish Envie is by far the best I've had locally. However, it's not available yet.. so for available beers, NOLA Hopitoulas. I haven't had their stout yet, but Hopitoulas is solid.

Good one. The stuff that Parish is going to release this year will make it the best brewery in LA IMO.

I was at a boil this part weekend and Canebreak went with crawfish pretty well. Abita Strawberry is the ultimate cold light beer on a hot humid Louisiana day.

Guess I have a good excuse to have go get some crawfish now!
"Didn't we just have crawfish Kantz?"
"Yeah, but we didn't have it with Canebrake"

I always thought Dixie had a Green Pecan aftertaste.

Jax was always underrated IMO.
