My friends and I (recent grads) is heading down to nawlins for mardi gras, and we're looking for a great spot to eat at while we're down there any suggestions?

Where are you staying. What kind of places do you like. What kind of budget?

lol a few beers would do that to a guy, but we're going to be staying somewhere close to the french quarters I heard them mentioning doing a lot of walking. But I want to go somewhere thats hangover friendly, and I really dont care about the price as long as the food good.

We can go all over the place with this.

Lower end place is Coops Place in quarter.
Lots of mid range places such as Mr. B's, Muriels, or Palace Cafe.

I also suggest going down to Frenchman and trying to get into Adolphos.

Walk to Butcher in the Warehouse District for a sandwich. Small place, so it'll be really crowded but it's legit.

It would be best not to pronounce New Orleans that way to any locals.

This thread might be helpful.

What kind of food/price range?

The suggestion of Butcher is a good one. You should also try and go to Magazine and eat at Mahony's or Guy's po-boys.
