NYTimes: In Louisiana’s River Towns, a Flow of Talent

The presence of the Ravens’ Ed Reed and Jacoby Jones provide a 16th consecutive Super Bowl with players from Louisiana, where more N.F.L. players hail from than any other state.

Miles is thankful for that. It covers up his fair to midland coaching abilities.

Would love to see what a great coach would do with our Louisiana talent

Seeing as Miles is the most successful coach in LSU history, he's doing more than any other coach who had access to "Louisiana talent"

A new record!!!

It only took ONE post to hijack a thread and turn it into "Miles is the worst coach I ever saw who destroys talent and makes women weep while they hide their children." Why don't we all get the mob ready with pitchforks and flaming torches and descend on the castle in Baton Rouge?

Holy crap. I just realized the author.

The same guy that trolled LSU football for allegedly diverting attention away from education in the state, and the same guy that blasted Lolo Jones right before her events in the 2012 Olympics.

What an asshat.

If that is the case then Richt should have been run out of Athens years ago. I mean, damn, only upper tier football program in a state with 9+M pop and 92 players from the state in the NFL. That is the fan base that truly has reason to bitch. Obviously it isn't enough to plug in talented guys and expect a MNC every year anywhere except Bama.

Midland, TX? They had a lot of talent but Texas usually gets it

Oh good statement! Because all this talent is LA high schools just showed up and every other coach has won 10+ games a year. Good call dumbass!

The talent level in Louisiana is a luxury, thats for sure, and I'm damn glad LSU harnesses the majority.
Must be something magical in that cane sugar, because, coincindentally, south Florida has a lot of NFL level athletes that come from its cane field counties as well.
