Midland, TX? They had a lot of talent but Texas usually gets it
He obviously means that Miles relies too much on players from the midland...like Alexandria and Pineville. He needs to go more coastal.

Would love to see what a great coach would do with our Louisiana talent
First, those 2 did not go to LSU.
Second, you cant fill a whole team with la talent alone. Whers the linebackers? Quaterbacks?
Also hurricanes ravaged this state and LA had quite a few down years in recruiting as a direct result.
When we won in 07 51% of the team were from oos. Know what ur talking about before you post bullshite.

Although West St. John is one of Louisiana’s smallest football-playing high schools, with 210 students in Grades 8-12, the Rams draw as many as 2,500 fans for their biggest games, Valdez said. That means 300 to 500 pounds of fried chicken must be supplied to the concession stand, along with a huge vat of jambalaya.
That's my alma mater!!!!!

Jacoby Jones and Ed Reed really repped the state well! Must of felt good for Jones to play that way in his return to the NOLA!

someone needs to e-mail that article to the nicholls coaching staff. They don't need to recruit more than an hours drive thidaux.

Miles is thankful for that. It covers up his fair to midland coaching abilities.

Must be something magical in that cane sugar, because, coincindentally, south Florida has a lot of NFL level athletes that come from its cane field counties as well.
There isn't anything in the cane sugar. Go take a look at a map of demographics and then deduce which schools will have an upper hand. NOLA was the major port city of the South. Makes total sense. People are such pussies they can't say what they think.

I find it hard to believe that 17 years ago, there was a super bowl with no one from La. ? Which match up was that?

If only he had Odessa's coaching abilities. We could be, like, Friday Night Lights.
You, sir, are an idiot.

Not sure about the fried chicken and jambalaya, but y'all sure know how to make the lights go out at the right time. Did y'all relay that strategy to the 49'ers in the Super Bowl this year?

We learned it from a game we had against Logansport several years ago!
